AskCity.com is the local search entity for Ask.com. The local search site allows consumers to find local business listings, maps, driving directions, local events and coupons. Users can also make restaurant reservations and save, send and share information with friends and family.

Formally known as Ask Jeeves, Ask.com is a leading search company known for its advertising network and its ability to process natural language queries by keyword. Founded in Berkeley, Calif., in 1996, Ask.com went public on July 1, 1999. The company consists of several Ask.com branded Web sites as well as the Ask.com advertising services network, which enables advertisers to buy keywords across all or part of the network.
