MetaCrawler, one of the oldest metasearch engines, joined the InfoSpace Network in 2000 and shares a nearly identical home page and many of the same features as WebCrawler. MetaCrawler searches multiple engines including Yahoo! and AltaVista. Tools include Advanced Search, Preferences, the MetaCrawler Toolbar, and MetaSpy, which reveals queries of MetaCrawler users.
