Founded in 1994, Yahoo! was originally a directory organized by humans, but moved to crawler-based listings in 2002. In addition to Yahoo! Local, Yahoo! Search enables users to search via Yahoo! Web Search, Yahoo! Image, Yahoo! Video, Yahoo! News and Yahoo! Shopping.

    Yahoo! Mobile Web Local (http://m.yahoo.com): Mobile users can search for local search results, movie times, flight info and more through Yahoo Mobile oneSEARCHTM.

    Yahoo! Send to Phone: With the Send to Phone link, PC users can direct online local information to their mobile phone via SMS. In addition, mobile users can text a category and location request to YAHOO (92466) to receive local listings.
